This year’s Porchside Festival was everything we hoped for and then some!

From the very first show to the last encore, you showed up – with your blankets, your lawn chairs, your kids, your neighbours, and your sense of wonder. You turned porches and outdoor stages into some of the most intimate, joyful spaces we’ve ever had the privilege of filling with music and story. Watching a small pandemic-era idea grow into a beloved summer tradition has been one of the great joys of running this festival, and this season reminded us exactly why we keep doing it.

To the incredible artists who brought soulful global sounds, Broadway favourites, jazz, folk, and bluegrass to our stages – thank you for pouring your talent into these intimate settings and making every single show feel like something special. There’s a kind of magic that happens when performers are close enough to see the audience smiling along, and you gave us that magic night after night.
To our audiences – new faces and familiar ones alike – thank you for making Porchside what it is. Your energy, your laughter, your willingness to sit a little closer and listen a little deeper: that’s the heart of this festival.
