Creative Team

Nick Rice as Morrie Schwartz

Nicholas Rice, a UBC-trained actor from Winnipeg now based in Toronto, returns to Tuesdays with Morrie with stage credits including Fiddler on the Roof, Angels in America, and his solo shows, plus screen work on Murdoch Mysteries, Coroner, and Suits. He dedicates this performance to the memory of his cousin, Tom Churchill.

Josh Palmer as Mitch Albom

Josh Palmer is a Toronto-based actor excited to perform in his hometown alongside his friend Nick, with credits including Mitch in Tuesdays with Morrie, Marc in Art, and Orsino in Twelfth Night. He trained at Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Performance.

Daniel Tessy – Original Composition and Sound Design

Daniel Tessy is an Iraqi-Jamaican-Canadian sound and projection designer, composer, and educator, with recent credits including ZAYO, Kostroma, and Tuesdays With Morrie with King Theatre Company. He is also a sessional lecturer at the University of Toronto’s Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies.

Lesley Coo – Stage Manager

Lesley Coo returns to King Theatre Company after stage managing A Christmas Carol in 2025, with credits including Pippin, Macbeth, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream for companies like South Simcoe Theatre and Theatre by the Bay. She is also a member of the South Simcoe Theatre Board and Theatre Georgian Bay Collective.

Chloë Rose – Flowers Director

Chloë Rose Flowers is Artistic Director of King Theatre Company, with recent directing credits including Tuesdays With Morrie, The Pavilion, A Christmas Carol, ART, and Salt-Water Moon. She has also worked with companies across Ontario, including Mirvish Productions, Shakespeare in Action, and Hart House Theatre.
