Mask Making Series

Explore the art of theatrical mask making from concept to completion! Participants will be guided through foundational techniques including mask construction, paper mache sculpting, painting and decorating. While the focus of this workshop is a mask, the processes and skills covered are also applicable and useful in prop-making, and sculpture.
Join us for this 3 Week Series: May 2, May 9, May 16 on Saturdays from 1:00pm – 4:00pm
No prior experience required; all materials and tools are provided.
Bio of Kerstin Henke
Kerstin is a teacher, writer, actor and director who proudly serves as Wasaga Community Theatre’s Vice President. You may recognize her from the many Murder Mystery Dinners she’s written and performed in Wasaga Beach. She has also performed and worked with Theatre Burlington, Milton Players and Theatre Collingwood – Panto fans will know her as the dreaded Bay Witch in our recent production of The Little Mermaid!
