Drama Education Programs
Collingwood’s Drama Education Programs Put More PLAY in Your Life! We offer creative summer and March Break camps, as well as after-school programs for youth throughout the year. We also offer programs for adults and seniors that give opportunities to try something new. No experience is necessary and the programs are continually evolving. It is our intention at Theatre Collingwood to provide accessible opportunities for people to come together in a creative way to learn new skills, meet new friends, grow empathy and feel connected.
Summer Camps
Hey Kids! Summer is almost here—and it’s time to PLAY!
Join Theatre Collingwood our July and August Drama Camps where creativity shines and friendships grow.
Designed for ages 8–10 and 11-13, these exciting weeks are packed with theatre games, character creation, and performance fun—perfect for all experience levels!
Led by passionate theatre pros, you’ll build confidence, explore your imagination, and end the week with a show that’s sure to impress!
July 7 – 11, from 9:00am – 3:00pm (Ages 8 – 10)
August 11 – 15, from 9:00am – 3:00pm (Ages 11 – 13)
Teenage Drama Intensive
New Program – 2025 Teenage Drama Intensive.
This week-long intensive is designed for teens passionate about theatre, offering hands-on training in audition prep, stage combat, choreography, and more—all led by experienced industry professionals.
August 11 – 15, 9:00am – 3:00pm (Ages 14 – 17)
Youth Programs
Theatre Collingwood offers engaging after-school programs tailored for young enthusiasts eager to explore various facets of theatre, from acting and singing to playwriting, costume design, and prop building. These programs provide a nurturing environment where children can develop their creativity and theatrical skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
These after-school programs are an excellent opportunity for children to immerse themselves in the world of theatre, fostering creativity, confidence, and collaboration.
March Break Camp
Hey Kids! March Break is here, and it’s time to PLAY!
Join Theatre Collingwood for our exciting March Break Drama Camp, where creativity takes center stage, and friendships bloom! This fun-filled, action-packed week is the perfect opportunity to explore your imagination, build your self-confidence, and most of all… HAVE FUN!
Our instructors are experienced theatre professionals who know what it takes to create magic on the stage! Their passion for the stage is contagious, and they are eager to share their knowledge and experience with you.
This camp is designed for kids ages 8-12 and is perfect for all levels of experience. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or trying theatre for the first time, our team will ensure you have a rewarding experience. You’ll work on exciting theatre exercises, create fun characters, and collaborate with fellow campers to put on a performance that’s sure to impress!
