Collingwood’s Drama Education Programs Put More PLAY in Your Life! We offer creative summer and March Break camps, as well as after-school programs for youth throughout the year. We also offer programs for adults and seniors that give opportunities to try something new. No experience is necessary and the programs are continually evolving. It is our intention at Theatre Collingwood to provide accessible opportunities for people to come together in a creative way to learn new skills, meet new friends, grow empathy and feel connected.

March Break Camp

Hey Kids! March Break is here, and it’s time to PLAY!

Join Theatre Collingwood for our exciting March Break Drama Camp, where creativity takes center stage, and friendships bloom! This fun-filled, action-packed week is the perfect opportunity to explore your imagination, build your self-confidence, and most of all… HAVE FUN!

Our instructors are experienced theatre professionals who know what it takes to create magic on the stage! Their passion for the stage is contagious, and they are eager to share their knowledge and experience with you.

This camp is designed for kids ages 8-12 and is perfect for all levels of experience. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or trying theatre for the first time, our team will ensure you have a rewarding experience. You’ll work on exciting theatre exercises, create fun characters, and collaborate with fellow campers to put on a performance that’s sure to impress!

Youth Programs

Does your child have that special spark that drives them to be up on stage? Good news!

The UP ON STAGE after-school program offers kids the chance to act, sing, dance, build props, create sets and costumes, and much more – so many aspects of the world of theatre are explored together!

Ten kids , ten weeks, one Awesome After-School Program for Ages 8 to 13 years old. Classes run weekly from September 24th – November 26

Our grandson loved it so much that he attended every after school and vacation classes. Awesome teacher!

By donating to our Arts Education program, you are helping us provide workshops and camps at reasonable prices, plus you might be subsidising tuition for someone to attend who is experiencing financial barriers.

Fall Workshops for Adults

Become part of Collingwood’s thriving arts scene by taking an Arts Education class in 2024! Our education programs are for adults of all ages, and include opportunities to learn a wide variety of performing arts skills from experienced instructors! Have you ever wanted to try Tap Dancing? Are you a born Storyteller? Have you ever dreamed of playing Lady Macbeth? Have you wanted to explore the art of Burlesque Dancing?
