Theatre Collingwood partners with Collingwood Charters to offer Matinee Performance & Boat Tour packages with dining options for lunch and dinner. Groups attending a matinee performance save $1.00 per ticket compared to our regular ticket price.
Groups attending an evening performance will save a total of $5.00 per ticket!
You can make a group reservation by calling (705) 445-2200 or 1-866-382-2200 and speaking with one of our seasoned representatives. You can also come and visit the Box Office in person between the hours of 10am-5pm, Monday through Friday, OR you can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information!
Groups require a minimum of 10 attendees in order to qualify for special rates and perks. A deposit of $100 is required to reserve seats for a performance (a $200 deposit is required in the case of a group package booking). Reservations can be adjusted up until 30 days prior to your scheduled performance date, at which point payment in full is required. Once payment is received in full your tickets will be released to you for distribution.
No, to receive the special group rates and perks, group tickets must be booked in advance.
No, we request that the transaction be made in one payment per group order.
Group tickets may be exchanged for another date (minimum of one week’s advance notice) for a handling fee of $2.50 per ticket. Subject to availability.
The Historic Gayety Theatre is wheelchair accessible from Ontario Street with a ramp leading directly into the theatre. Please indicate the number of wheelchairs in your Group when ordering tickets so that we may reserve special seating locations. Our ushers will escort anyone who requires assistance with a walker or wheelchair. If you have any questions or concerns regarding accessibility to Theatre Collingwood performances, please call our office: 705-445-2200.
Yes, Theatre Collingwood provides reserved seating for all of our performances that take place in the Historic Gayety Theatre. We are happy to work with group organizers to achieve the best possible seating configuration to suit your needs.
No, groups can be split into as many different pairings and sat throughout the theatre in any preferred way. Subject to seating availability.
Please advise us if you are coming by bus so that we can make arrangements on Ontario Street (located next to the theatre). At that point, we can also make recommendations as to where the bus driver can park for the duration of the performance.
Public parking is available on surrounding streets and municipal parking lots; there are two municipal parking lots located within a two block radius of the Gayety theatre.
Rates: Parking on Hurontario Street is currently $1.00 per hour (maximum of 3 hours). Metered street and municipal lot parking is currently $0.75 per hour (no maximum). Anyone displaying a valid Accessible Parking Permit or having a valid Ontario Veteran Licence Plate is exempt from paying to park in any municipal parking area. The Town of Collingwood offers FREE municipal parking on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays as well as after 6:00 p.m. during the week.
Yes, Theatre Collingwood has several packages available for group bookings that include fabulous options for lunch or dinner at one of our local restaurant partners. Additionally, Theatre Collingwood offers a program called “Dine and Play” with several nearby restaurants that will offer you a percentage discount off of your meal when you present your ticket for a same-day performance. Yes, the theatre is licensed. A bar serving wine, beer and other refreshments will be available before evening performances and during intermission. Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available during matinee performances.
