Artist Accommodations Needed

Interested in becoming a billet partner for Theatre Collingwood?

Do you have a spare bedroom in your home? Kids gone off to college or university? Do you own a rental suite that’s vacant on occasion during the year? Perhaps you’re a lucky snowbird who has an unoccupied home in South Georgian Bay. Are you a B&B operator who has an empty room from time to time?

Theatre Collingwood is looking for members in our community to host a performer with short-term accommodation during our 2020 Season.

Top Canadian actors, directors, stage managers and musicians come to Collingwood for one night to one week to perform with Theatre Collingwood, and they need a comfortable place to stay during the production schedule.

This is a terrific opportunity to support a local arts organization, as well as make lasting friendships! Because they are working away from home, and costs for hotel rooms is prohibitive, our artists greatly appreciate you welcoming them into your home, making it possible for them to take short-term contracts with Theatre Collingwood.

If you can offer a private bedroom, access to a kitchen and a full washroom please consider billeting a performer this year! Theatre Collingwood is presenting shows in 2020 in the following areas:

1. Downtown Collingwood (Simcoe Street Theatre & First Presbyterian Church)
2. Collingwood East (Royal Canadian Legion & GNE Fairgrounds)
3. Town of the Blue Mountains (Mash Street Centre)

If your accommodation is within driving or walking distance of any of these locations, please contact our Box Office today. In exchange for your support, you will receive complimentary tickets to the artist’s production or a Gift Certificate to attend any of Theatre Collingwood’s regularly scheduled performances.
