Musical tribute

Written by and starring Adrian Marchuk and a cast of outstanding musical performers.

the-rainbowBuilding on the great success we had with Adrian’s production of “Any Dream Will Do” last summer, “Over The Rainbow: The Harold Arlen Story” is sure to be another musical delight, as we explore the life and iconic music of this fascinating man who wrote the music for The Wizard of Oz (although many are unaware of this).

Harold Arlen (February 15, 1905 – April 23, 1986) was an American composer of popular music, having written over 500 songs, a number of which have become known worldwide. In addition to composing the songs for the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz (lyrics by E.Y. Harburg), including the classic “Over the Rainbow”, Arlen is a highly regarded contributor to the Great American Songbook.
